At 3pm on May 13, the opening day of Luxe Pack New York, William McDonough, chief executive, McDonough Innovation, co-founder, MBDC and co-author of Cradle-to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things and The Upcycle: Beyond Sustainability—Designing for Abundance, will offer a special presentation for Luxe Pack attendees.
 
The address is in conjunction with an afternoon designed around creating a positive and sustainable future by design.
 
McDonough will also participate in judging the Luxe Pack in Green packaging competition along with Jamie Matusow, editor-in-chief of Beauty Packaging, and a number of other jurors.
 
McDonough says, “I have been working with global manufacturers and retailers to design new packaging concepts and systems because packaging represents a tremendous opportunity for innovation. It is time to re-imagine how we package everything by charting a path to enduring value.”
